Established since 1989, Gillies & Mackay provide a large range of sectional timber buildings constructed from the highest quality tongue and groove redwood weatherboard. The firm is now into its second generation with many members of the Mackay family working as part of the team and a number of young Gillies's on the way up. You can be sure that good customer service is a priority for all concerned. Gillies & Mackay operate from a farm in Errol, which is owned by Grant Gillies' s family. A large show area is located at their site in Errol, which is open six days a week (seven in summer), displaying a range of different buildings from dog kennels and standard sheds to an example of an artist's studio. Grant's brother, Ronnie, runs the Cairn o' Mohr winery with his wife, Judith, and their new cafe is open Wednesday-Sundays from 10.00am-4.00pm. You can view the buildings and then treat yourself to a coffee and a 'tipsy' scone.
Gillies & Mackay pride themselves on being able to accommodate each customers individual needs. If you can't find a design to suit, they are happy to build to your own specification where feasible. Please remember that planning permission may be required and you should always check this with the planning department covering your area.
