The Deuchny is finished with Isola shingles – a premium, sustainable roofing material sourced from Norway and available in the UK exclusively through Gillies & Mackay.
They replicate the look of traditional slate, giving these designs a more refined, classic finish while still standing up to Scotland's weather. Isola shingles carry a 30-year guarantee, reflecting their durability and long service life. For buyers drawn to the shaped pyramidal roofline of the Deuchny, Isola shingles add the extra touch of craftsmanship that suits their more distinctive silhouette.
Every Radiata Garden Room comes fully delivered and installed as standard – no separate contractor to arrange, no added complexity.
Our team handles delivery within 40 miles of Errol as part of the price, with only a small charge for anything further afield. Once on-site, your building is assembled and finished, by our experienced team.
It's one less thing to organise during what can otherwise feel like a complicated project, and it means your Garden Room is put up properly, by people who build them every day.
The Radiata Garden Rooms do not come with Guttering as standard. We advise that all basework be constructed with a soakaway in mind to allow the water to run off the roof and be drawn away from the building.
It would be advisable for larger sizes to opt for guttering given the amount of water they shed.
Radiata Garden Rooms are constructed with a 19mm thick tongue and groove subfloor. The subfloor is not advised to be used as the finished floor.
We offer laminate flooring as an optional extra, in three colours specially chosen to compliment the beautiful Radiata ThermoWood. If you'd prefer a different floor covering, you will need to arrange this yourself.

We provide your chosen contractor with the specifications for your garden room's base. Once the base is completed and signed off, you’re ready for installation.
We purchased our bespoke garden room in June 2024. The quality and finish is just superb. Communication and service from start to finish from the G&M team was second to none.

Had a garden room built from G&M Aug 22. A really good experience and they made a fantastic job. Had 17 months enjoying the garden room. A couple of weeks ago I noticed the door had moved ever so slightly…..couple of cms. I phoned G&M looking for a wee bit of advice but got way better than that. Callum has been out and fixed the door. I can’t speak highly enough of this company, from the instillation to the wee fix 17 months later. And also Nicola who went above and beyond as well. Highly recommended.
