So you’ve spotted Gillies & Mackay online and have your dream timber building in mind. But do we deliver to your part of the world?
Perhaps you are dreaming of finally finding a shed-home for all of those loose tools around the house, or maybe it’s the attraction of soaking up the sun with friends in one of our garden rooms?
Whatever your G&M dreams, we regularly hear questions about delivery.
Luckily, this post sets out to answer them all!
Throughout this post we will look at;

Where do Gillies & Mackay deliver to?
Our G&M timber buildings have always been pretty popular, but over the past few years, we have had enquiries from all over the UK…even outside the UK! Wow, thanks, Sheddies!
Unfortunately, as much as we would love to promise everyone a life full of G&M dreams, we can only deliver to certain parts of the UK.
Scotland: you are the lucky bunch! Gillies & Mackay deliver Garden Rooms, Garages and Workshops all over Scotland, so you can place an order at G&M and get the timber building of your dreams. Unfortunately, we only deliver our single-skinned Sheds within 30 miles of our HQ in Errol. If you live outwith this area we sadly can’t fulfil your Shed dreams.
England: Sheddies in England, we’re afraid it’s a bit more complicated. We cannot deliver everywhere in England (not yet anyway), but we can deliver Garages to any English Sheddies that are in the North of England. This means that if you live in places like Carlise, you can start getting excited because we will deliver a timber Garage to you!
Is assembly of your timber building included?
The simple answer is YES!
Woohoo!
It’s certainly easier to watch your beautiful G&M being built than it is to build it yourself, especially when you don’t have to pay any extra pennies for assembly.
As for why, well, that’s because we’re pretty fussy when it comes to how your G&M is erected, but we’ll talk about that later.
Do you charge for delivery?
This question is a bit trickier than a straight yes or no. If your G&M is getting delivered within a 40-mile radius of our office in Errol, then good news, your delivery and assembly is free!
If you’re outside the 40-mile radius, there is an additional charge. This will be priced on consultation as prices vary depending things like overnight stays, fuel and even ferry charges. For that reason, we can give you a delivery fee on enquiry.

Can you do delivery or pick-up only?
The short answer is no.
In the past we have done this, however, it causes both you and I issues when we allow this to happen. It’s much better (for us both) if you allow us to put up your building for you and to eliminate any causes for issues with your building down the line.
Our on-site joiners are G&M-qualified and have been practising putting up your dream G&M in a very specific way for years now. They know exactly what they are doing and you can trust that they will assemble your building to the standard you deserve.
A G&M building, should and will (if correctly erected and looked after) last a lifetime! Yes, a whole lifetime!
Once you’ve placed your order, our fabulous team in the workshop will build your G&M in such a way that it allows for the master team of on-site joiners to erect your building to its inch-perfect design.
So to protect you (and our buildings) our master on-site joiners will do all of the hard work for you!

Ready to become a Sheddie?
In short, we will deliver and assemble your building for free, as long as you are within a 30 mile radius. Anything over that, there may be a small delivery fee, but we can keep you right with that 🙂
